THE AIRCRAFT
A Spanish airframe with a Merlin engine.
Developed from the Bf-109, the Buchón combined the Spanish-built airframe with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. After Spanish military service, the type became familiar through film work and restored warbirds.
