THE AIRCRAFT
The twin-engine Dragon Rapide.
First flown in 1934, the DH.89 Dragon Rapide was a wooden twin-engine biplane developed for short-haul passenger transport. It also served as the military Dominie in training and communications roles.
The Flight Replicas package depicts restored aircraft with modern communications equipment and a two-axis autopilot alongside the traditional cockpit.
