THE AIRCRAFT
A biplane built to carry passengers.
The de Havilland DH.83 Fox Moth was developed as a light passenger aircraft in the early 1930s. Its raised pilot’s cockpit sits behind an enclosed passenger cabin.
The Flight Replicas MSFS catalogue lists three variants. For ease of use, the aircraft in the package are equipped with electrical systems and an engine starter, as described in the manual.

Passenger cabin
The aircraft’s distinctive arrangement places the cabin ahead of the pilot’s cockpit.
Electrical starting
Battery, generator and starter controls are included in the modeled cockpit.
Period-style panel
The instruments include airspeed, altitude, RPM, engine-condition gauges and a P8 compass.
Operating guidance
The manual explains the controls, click spots, fuel indication and flight procedures. Radio communication uses the simulator’s ATC interface.
