Messerschmitt Bf-109K-4 for FSXA

Sound file to replace when using the 109K-4 in P3DV.2 onwards.

Due to the understandably sensitive nature of certain WWII German aircraft markings, some users will prefer to have historically authentic fin markings, and others not.

Fuselage textures for the release package, both with and without historically accurate fin markings:

Bouncing:

Despite all the pre-release testing of the L-4 Grasshopper and J-3 Cub, it turns out that a few systems do not like the tailwheel contact points (both packages share similar arrangements, being similar aircraft). Replacement aircraft.cfg files are available here, which will cure the problem.

Note: If your L-4 and/or J-3 Cub does not bounce unnecessarily on the ground, do not use these new aircraft.cfg's!

To use, unzip the file into a folder of your choice. Then go to the four (4) individual aircraft folders, and drop them (copy and paste) into your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes folder (or wherever you have installed FSX), and let them overwrite when asked.

Replacement fin textures on Luftwaffe aircraft (Bf-109; Me-262):

Due to the understandably sensitive nature of certain WWII German aircraft markings, some users will prefer to have historically authentic fin markings, and others not. Below, you can download alternate textures (Bf-109F not available), depending on the aircraft.
